(UTP)350 Mhz Cat. 5e Patch Cord with Snag-Free Cap with RJ 45 Plugs RJ45 is the connector of the cable, where this comes with 8 pins, usually used for ethernet. Vice versa, the telephone connectors are called RJ11, which only comes with 6 pins. 50u Gold Plated Contacts 50u stands for "50 micron" which is the gold plated pins on the cable connector that ensure the data trasnfer speed, because when the consumers plug and replugs the network cables, the friction creates loss in the data transfer, by having the 50 microns on the connector, it will ensure the quality of our cables up to 1000 times of plug and replug.

Molded with Boots The connectors of the cables are molded to reduce the risk in damaging the cables during plug and pull. Boots is the little plastic cover over the little plastic button for better protection.
